Caretower Visit

As part of their GCSE and iGCSE IT courses, Year 10 and 11 students along with Mr Pandelis and Miss Overman visited the offices of Caretower. Caretower is a Cyber Security Managed Service Provider and a market leader in the field of Cyber Security. They hold multiple accreditations, awards and certifications and based in Bounds Green in North London. Upon arrival the group was welcomed by Mrs Pandelis,  the recruiter for Caretower. The morning included an introduction to the Managing Director, Mr Phydos Neophytou, as well as the Head of Professional Services, the Mid Market Team Leader and an Enterprise Account Manager. Each of them took time to explain the various different aspects of the organisation along with what Cyber Security is and how Caretower along with their vendors support their clients. The technologies used and offered by the organisation as well as the opportunities that the Cyber industry offers were also explained at great length. The possibility of taking on an apprentice was also discussed, something many of the students seemed keen on! All in all, it was a great morning out and enjoyed by all. Thanks go to Mr Phydos Neophytou for allowing us to visit Caretower and provide the opportunity to learn a great deal about the cyber security sector.
