SHOES

All students are expected to wear plain black leather, patent or suede shoes or boots to school, with no visible logos that can be polished.

The Air Force shoe is black leather, and although there is a logo it is not very obvious. We can see that these shoes are appealing to parents as they are reasonably substantial and therefore suitable for outdoors, so we are happy that these shoes are worn as part of the School uniform. We thought it might be helpful to give parents ideas of what is and what is not acceptable, and you can find this information below.

We must emphasise that Nike Air Forces are very heavy shoes and are not sports trainers. They are not suitable for PE/Games lessons as they are of such a weight that they prevent movement and are likely to cause injury. Please ensure that your child has trainers for PE and games.

PE / GAMES KIT REQUIREMENTS AND REGULATIONS

The PE Department look forward to welcoming and teaching your child. In order for students to experience a smooth transition within PE and Games lessons it is important that they start the term with the correct kit and equipment.

Additional Comments

  • Please ensure that all clothing and equipment is named accordingly.
  • Students will be encouraged to leave their PE bag in a designated area during the school day. This will enable them to locate it before lessons and clubs.
  • Please encourage your child to take their kit home regularly so that it can be washed.
  • From time to time there are changes within lessons and therefore we encourage students to bring their full kit to every lesson.
