Trips

A varied and exciting list of trips will be available for students to attend which complement their studies.

Budding artists and photographers take full advantage of the rich array of galleries and exhibitions available in London.

Students of literature visit Jane Austen’s house in Hampshire, historians travel to sites such as Chartwell or the Palace of Versailles. Language students can visit France and Spain in planned excursions to immerse themselves in the language and culture of their chosen subject.

In recent years, students in all year groups have been offered trips throughout the academic year, including:

  • Academic Focused Trips – British Museum, Cambridge University, Houses of Parliament, Bath, Bletchley Park, York and Cambridge
  • Arts Focused Trips – European Choir Tour, National Theatre, Tate Britain
  • Sport focused trips – Lambourne End Outdoor Education Centre, Oxygen Trampoline Park.
  • For Years 8 to 13 there is also the opportunity for the annual Mount House Ski Trip to Austria.

We also offer a range of residential trips which include PGL in Dorset and for Year 8 the French Language trip to Paris. There have also been opportunities for international trips to exciting destinations such as Rome.

This school sends that message to the children, that they can find their strength and it doesn’t have to be the same as anyone else’s
