An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Mount House School as a Teacher of Physical Education. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher to provide expertise in PE, and applications from teachers who can support the development of boys’ football are especially encouraged. The role could involve teaching at GCSE and Sixth Form level for candidates interested in academic PE teaching, but can also focus on KS3 core PE and Games. This is advertised as a part-time role (likely 0.5 FTE) but those able to offer an additional subject are encouraged to make this clear on application. This post would suit experienced teachers, current subject leads, or ECTs.

We are currently advertising a 0.5 Business Studies teacher role and candidates who may be interested in teaching Business Studies and PE are encouraged to apply.

The role will involve teaching at GCSE and Sixth Form level. This is advertised as a part-time role (likely 0.5 FTE) but those able to offer an additional subject are encouraged to make this clear on application – especially those keen on offering some PE/sports coaching, but other subjects will also be considered. This post would suit experienced teachers, current subject leads, or ECTs.

We are currently also advertising a 0.5 PE teacher role. The PE timetable could consist of KS3 core PE and sports coaching, suitable for a non-specialist who is nevertheless a keen sportsman/woman. Equally it could include GCSE PE teaching for candidates with suitable experience and expertise.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Mount House School as a Teacher of Computer Science. For the right candidate there is opportunity to take the role of subject lead. The role will involve teaching across the age range. The post can be offered as full time or part time. Where it is full-time there may be need initially for a small amount of teaching in an additional subject, therefore if a candidate is keen to offer an additional subject they are encouraged to make this clear on application. This post would suit experienced teachers, current subject leads, or ECTs.

We are currently advertising a part time Business Studies teacher role and a 0.5 PE teacher role and candidates who may be interested in teaching some Business Studies or PE (core PE and Games, so a keen interest in sports would be sufficient with support given by our experienced PE department) are encouraged to apply.
