Mount House tops League Tables for Barnet Schools

Posted: 25th January 2019

Our outstanding A Level results for 2018 have placed us as the number one school in Barnet, according government’s annual league tables published today. You can view the full league table here on the GOV.UK website.

With an average point score of 37.08 we stand above all other independent schools in the are including Brampton College and the Mill Hill Foundation. These figures tell how much progress students who studied A levels at Mount House made between the end of key stage 4 and the end of their A level studies, compared to similar students across Barnet.

Our head of Sixth Form, Mr C McCormick said of the results: “I am really pleased about today’s news that we have topped the league table for A Level value added here in Barnet. We first broached the top third three years ago and it is excellent to be right at the top this year. This could not happen without the expertise and dedication of our staff, who support and educate our hard working students to the maximum.”
