Our incredible Year 12 mentors were paired with enthusiastic Year 7s, under the steady guidance of our brilliant prefect team. It was a heartening sight to see students across year groups working side by side, sharing ideas, collaborating on a mini lego project, and building strong connections. 💬🤝
This term’s sessions are themed around the national Build the Change initiative by LEGO, challenging students to design creative solutions to real-world issues like loneliness, inclusivity, and nature connection. 🌍🌱
With the chance to win 10,000 LEGO bricks for our school, excitement and innovation are running high! Final designs will be completed on RSE Day, just in time for the June 30th deadline. 🧱💡
But beyond the competition, these sessions are about so much more: nurturing leadership, encouraging communication, and empowering our younger students to dream big and speak up. 💪✨

Our Mother Tongue, Other Tongue Cultural Evening in aid of WOHAA was a whirlwind of voices, languages, and heart! 🌍💬 From French poetry to Spanish singing, a moving Gaelic performance, and powerful English verse - every act was a beautiful reminder of the rich tapestry of cultures that unite us.
We were deeply honoured to be joined by the founder of the Wings of Hope Achievement Award, Mrs. Rajni Sriram, whose presence made the evening even more special. 🌟

It’s a tennis sort of week! U15 students also competed at the ISA National Tennis Competition. There were some excellent achievements and all players performed well against strong opponents.
🎾👟In the singles competitions, both Kimi and Georgie secured bronze in the plate.
🎾👟Sam qualified for the cup but narrowly lost in a tiebreak.
🎾👟During the afternoon of doubles, Georgie and Tatiana won third place in the cup, defeating four opponents. Sam and Kimi finished runners-up in the plate, while Owen and Hari came fourth in the plate.
They had an enjoyable day and should all be very proud of themselves.

🎨 Year 9 art students have been creating conceptual art inspired by the work of artist Anicka Yi, making beautiful soap sculptures using leeks, garlic and onions.
🖌️Their work offers a conceptual critique of the politics of odour and sanitation in Western society, where the fear of odours can often exclude and discriminate. Well done to all!
