A-level Results

Academic expectations are high and Mount House Sixth Form achieves excellent results. This year the success continued with the vast majority of our leavers going on to study at their first choice university.

We are very proud of our value-added scores that show how we help our students achieve their potential. We’re proud to be in the top five of 32 local schools for A-level Value Added in the most recent league table. Value Added scores show how much progress students who studied A-levels at Mount House made between the end of Key Stage 4 and the end of their A-level studies. The scores are calculated by comparing the A-level results of our students with the results of students in schools and colleges across England who started with similar results at the end of Key Stage 4.

Congratulations to all Mount House students on their A-level examination results, and we’re delighted with all our students’ successes. Some of the courses our 2019 leavers are now studying are:

    • Law at King’s College London
    • Spanish & Portuguese at the University of Newcastle
    • Business & Finance at the University of Edinburgh
    • History of Art at The Courtauld Institute of Art
    • Fashion Design at University of the Arts London
The latest A-level Value Added league table places Mount House in the top five of 32 local schools.
